The first gathering of the national team in preparation for ECSC 2024
On August 31 and September 1, the Serbian national team held its first training session at the premises of the National CERT in Belgrade, as part of preparations for the upcoming European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC), which will be held in Turin, Italy, from the 7th to October 11.
On the first day of training, our team participated in the AD CTF organized by the Cyber Security Network with the support of the company MetaCTF, together with the national teams of Bulgaria, Ireland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Our competitors won an outstanding second place in this extremely demanding competition, which represents a significant success in this early part of the preparations.
On the second day, at the invitation of the Czech national team, the team participated in a larger AD competition, where they managed to win fifth place in competition with an even larger number of experienced teams. This result further strengthened our position in preparation for ECSC 2024.
Also, as part of this training, our team participated in the ECSC Demo AD competition, where the competitors had the opportunity to test their tools on the infrastructure that will be used at the European Championship itself.
This training, as well as the next one planned for the next weekend, September 7 and 8, was realized with the significant support of the National CERT and RATEL, to whom we would like to thank for their cooperation and support.
